The Oxford Women in Physics Society is excited to host the first Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) UK in the Department of Physics at Oxford University. The goal is to help undergraduate women continue in physics through participation in a conference focused on their development as scientists and showcasing options for their educational and professional futures. The conference will enable attendees to meet, network with, and be inspired by successful women in physics with whom they can share experiences, advice and ideas.

Lydia Beresford is looking for exotic particles using data collected at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
Megan Engel works on the folding processes of biological molecules such as proteins, and uses statistical mechanics to try to understand biological self-assembly.

Mehpare Atay is an accelerator physicist working on projects including laser plasma wakefield accelerators, high brightness LINACs and the Diamond Light Source upgrade.
